Implementation of GLCVA by R&D Institute “PEGAZ” in production of road bitumen provides the optimal content of asphaltenes while substantially reducing the period of oxidation. In addition, with the constant value of penetration, the value of ring-and-ball procedure grows, which indicates improved properties of bitumen in comparison with bitumen obtained by the traditional technologies. Thus using of GLCVA in production of road bitumen leads to:

  • increased productivity in comparison with the traditional technologies;
  • reduced energy consumption for heating of raw materials by reducing reaction temperature;
  • reduced emissions to the atmosphere by reducing the amount of oxidation gases;
  • stable quality of bitumen is achieved in production process.
